The creative way Samsung and Fortnite marketed their products together.

August 23rd became a day that gamers and tech enthusiasts loved. The introduction of the new Samsung Galaxy note 9. This might not seem too exciting but when the CEO of Epic Games came on stage and announced that if you buy the new NOTE 9 and TAB S4, then the would be able to receive a very rare Fortnite skin called Galaxy.

This was a very creative way that Samsung marketed their new products and they were able to segment and position themselves towards the gamers who knew that this would be a very rare opportunity. As a Marketing student, it is becoming more and more exciting seeing the different ways that companies are trying to market their products. Perhaps, Huawei can do something similar with a camera-person skin in Fortnite to show that they have the most superior camera in their smartphone. Or Apple, could release a Siri skin/backpack that follow you wherever you go, like Siri in their phones.
This collaboration has lead the way for digital companies to work together and create campaigns that not only benefit the shareholders but also for the stakeholders too
